What may be contributed

Three ways in, carrying different promises. Choosing the right one is most of what these rules are.

Your own work — upload

You made it, or you hold the rights, and you choose the licence. Your name goes on it and your link goes with it. This is the only route where you declare rights, because it is the only one where you have them.

Licensed work — submit a link

Paste the address of the original. The artist, licence and source are read from the site hosting it, so you never type them and cannot get them wrong. Only licences permitting reuse and alteration are accepted; anything else is refused, and told to you plainly.

Something you found — contribute

A wallpaper you like but did not make and cannot attribute. It goes up marked unattributed: no artist name, no licence, no reuse permissions. Do not guess at an artist to make the record look complete — a wrong credit is worse than an admitted blank, and the blank is exactly what invites someone to fill it in correctly.

Not accepted

Machine-generated images. Diffusion-model output is refused; this is a catalogue of work a person made.
Game and virtual-world captures. Second Life, VRChat and game engine screenshots, however well composed.
Anything on the blocklist. Work removed at a rights holder's request cannot return, in any resolution or encoding.
Content sexualising minors, or targeting a real person. Removed and the account terminated, with no warning step.

Ratings

Rate honestly. Safe is fine anywhere. Suggestive covers artistic nudity and mild gore, where most classical figure painting sits. Explicit is sexually explicit. Filing explicit work as safe is the fastest way to lose an account here.
