(1 in a multiple picture album) My heaven on earth is Tuolumne Meadows in the high country of Yosemite National Park. Most of the tourists visit the valley below and I don't blame them. But the congestion down there is too much for me. Up here one can walk for hours and never encounter another person. The river with the same name meanders through the meadow surrounded by forest and granite domes like Lembert Dome in this shot.
